And that is that the vast majority of Americans do not trust any form of Government to be able to protect them. We also realize that making thes guns black market just ups the ante for decent law abiding citizens thereby giving the criminal element a peek at our hand. A poll by Anderson Robbins Research (D) / Shaw & Company Research (R) found that 52% of Democrats say they would refuse to comply.

Only 22% of Americans believe gun control will reduce crime

58% of Americans believe violent crime would be reduced if more people had guns

65% of American gun owners say they would defy gun confiscation

52% of gun owning Democrats would defy gun confiscation

70% of gun owning Republicans would defy gun confiscation

73% of gun owning Independents would defy gun confiscation

77% of gun owning Men would defy gun confiscation

52% of gun owning Women would defy gun confiscation

68% of gun owning whites would defy gun confiscation

54% of gun owning non-whites would defy gun confiscation

58% of gun owners with a college degree would defy gun confiscation

69% of gun owners without a college degree would defy gun confiscation

Among every segment of the gun owning population, a majority says they will defy gun confiscation.

Rep. Allen West Concedes After Fla. Recount Fight

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) – Tea party firebrand Rep. Allen West conceded his re-election fight Tuesday, two weeks after the election gave way to court appearances, two partial recounts and unending accusations by his camp that the vote count wasn’t fair.

In a statement, the Republican freshman said “there are certainly still inaccuracies in the results” but not enough to change the outcome, giving the race to Democratic newcomer Patrick Murphy.

“While a contest of the election results might have changed the vote totals, we do not have evidence that the outcome would change,” West said. read more

Obama skipping more than half of his daily intelligence meetings?

President Obama is touting his foreign policy experience on the campaign trail, but startling new statistics suggest that national security has not necessarily been the personal priority the president makes it out to be. It turns out that more than half the time, the commander in chief does not attend his daily intelligence meeting.

The Government Accountability Institute, a new conservative investigative research organization, examined President Obama’s schedule from the day he took office until mid-June 2012, to see how often he attended his Presidential Daily Brief (PDB) — the meeting at which he is briefed on the most critical intelligence threats to the country. During his first 1,225 days in office, Obama attended his PDB just 536 times — or 43.8 percent of the time. During 2011 and the first half of 2012, his attendance became even less frequent — falling to just over 38 percent. By contrast, Obama’s predecessor, George W. Bush almost never missed his daily intelligence meeting.

National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor says that the president reads his PDB every day, and he disagreed with the suggestion that there is any difference whatsoever between simply reading the briefing book and having an interactive discussion of its contents with top national security and intelligence officials where the president can probe assumptions and ask questions. “I actually don’t agree at all,” Vietor told me in an e-mail, “The president gets the information he needs from the intelligence community each day.”

Allen West: America Gets What it Deserves if it Re-Elects President Obama

Obama’s convention speech has been met with harsh criticism from several conservative pundits including Charles Krauthammer and Peggy Noonan. But perhaps the harshest words for his speech came from Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.).

“Last night’s speech by Barack Obama was a weak plea for another four years to decimate our economy, retard our energy security future, and reduce the greatest fighting force known to the world,” West said in a statement on his Facebook page Friday. “It was a complete and utter failure.”

The post continues:
In Barack Obama’s own words he stated that if he could not turn this economy around in four years he would be a one-term proposition. He also stated that he would cut the deficit in half, yet we have had four years of trillion-dollar-plus deficits. This morning we found out, again, that we are still at 8% or higher unemployment for 43 straight months. This comes knowing that we were promised by Barack Obama unemployment never higher than 8% with the almost trillion dollar stimulus. We have the lowest workforce participation rate in 31 years…Obama will tout a decrease in unemployment from 8.3% to 8.1%, but that is a scam. We have 368,000 people who have been dropped from the labor accountability rolls. We only added 96,000 jobs to our economy in August. If America reelects Barack Obama to a second term, we deserve all the pain and misery that will ensue.

“I was a Democrat for many years. So were my parents,” Martinez said. “Before I ran for District Attorney, two Republicans invited my husband and me to lunch. And I knew a party-switch was exactly what they wanted.

Sandra Fluke Chickens Out Of Debate?

Apparently Sandra Fluke, is just that a fluke for the democrat party, she talks big hiding behind the democrat party but when ask to debate with a real woman, she chickens out…. from the daily caller

Liberal contraception activist Sandra Fluke isn’t taking up Breitbart.com editor Dana Loesch’s challenge to a debate on women’s issues.
The conservative firebrand Loesch has been tweeting at Fluke and publicly challenging the liberal activist Thursday to a debate and discussion on the issues, but Fluke, who strolled through the Republican National Convention Thursday afternoon, has not responded. Loesch has even gone looking for Fluke, who appears to have disappeared after a series of media appearances at the convention center.

Fluke showed up at the RNC with Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, early Thursday afternoon and the two paraded around media outlets in the convention center pushing their message.

Loesch isn’t surprised that Fluke has not agreed to a debate.

Hot Mic At GOP Convention Exposes David Chalian and Cost Him His Job

Blatant ignorance is alive and well at the Republican Convention and it has cost one guy his job. David Chalian, Yahoo News Washington bureau chief was caught making a horrible comment on “hot mic” during live coverage of the GOP Convention, Chalian said:

“Mitt Romney and his wife are happy to have a party, with black people drowning” he was referring to hurricane Issac.

I guess David Chalian thought the Romney’s had the power to stop the rain, or could go down and stop the floods, which begs the question, why was Chalian not in Louisiana instead of Florida? Further more the news has reported the storm so far is responsible for 2 deaths, which were not due to drowning…

Bin Laden Movie Won’t Be At The Box Office In Time For The Election

“Zero Dark Thirty” the movie that tells about the raid and death of osama bin laden, and a movie that obama had hoped would help him in his re-election, a movie that came under fire from conservative critics late last year when word leaked that the filmmakers were given access to secret files about the May 1 mission.

Now the film’s release has since been moved from October to December, the movie makers do not want to appear partisan, the filmmakers said in a joint statement the raid was an American triumph…

Univision Erases Slam on Marco Rubio

Liberal Agenda revealed behind Univision’s attack on Marco Rubio

It’s clear that liberal media bias is not limited to English speaking news outlets. Such is the case with Univision, the largest Spanish-language television network in the United States, as they took to their Facebook page to trash Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL).

Translated to English, Univision Noticias commented that:http://tercerriel.com/2012/08/28/bias-univision-news-jumps-into-its-own-facebook-thread-slams-marco-rubio/

Beyond ideology, Rubio is a mediocre politician and contradictory (sic) to the values he claims to represent. Jeb Bush is more Latino and talented then him.

As the conservative blog El Tercer Riel pointed out, the comments made by Univsion were removed from Facebook three hours after the initial post for unknown reasons. The most likely explanation is that the Facebook page’s administrator forgot to switch back to his/her personal user name to post the comment and accidentally added it from the corporate account.

It is unclear why the post was removed but the fact that such a post appeared from the official Facebook page of Univision Noticias exposes the liberal agenda behind this so-called news outlet.

2016: Obama’s America No. 1 at Box Office on Friday

Dinesh D‘Souza’s anti-Obama documentary, “2016: Obama’s America” began playing in 1,090 North American theaters on Friday and is opening as the number one movie at the domestic box office today, Deadline reports.

Playing in a third of the theaters as some big-budget Hollywood blockbusters like “The Expendables 2” (3,335 theaters), D‘Souza’s intriguing look into the life of President Obama is showing incredible promise. Rocky Mountain Pictures is releasing the documentary.

And while the Stallone action flick previously mentioned from Millenium/Lionsgate will likely finish the weekend on top of the box office, “2016” should, going off matinee trends, hold its own and is expected to rake in $3.7-$5 million by the end of the weekend. read more

Black Conservatives make their voices heard after poll shows Romney support among African-Americans at zero percent

Publishers Note: The media bias, which by the way is a bigger concern than  campaign capitalization to a majority of Americans, except the uneducated kool-aid drunkards. So it’s not a “GREAT SURPRISE” that once again NBC in desperation must, yes must LIE. That’s what evil does. –PBN

A new poll conducted by NBC and the Wall Street Journal shows that support for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney among black people stands at an incredible zero percent. Nada. Zilch. Zero.

But in order for the poll to be accurate, one would have to assume that there are indeed “zero” African-Americans that stand with Mitt Romney. And while the folks at NBC or WSJ certainly aren’t obligated to justify their findings, they would likely have a hard time doing so to the sea of African-Americans who took to Twitter to express their support for Romney after feeling as if they were being ignored — or better yet, as if they don’t exist at all.

Thus the #BlackConservativesForMittRomney hashtag was born. read more
