54 Reasons to Defeat Barack Obama,”  commemorate the 54 million unborn babies who lost their lives to the abortion policies Barack Obama supports.  about 54½ million abortions  occurred in the U.S. since the Roe v. Wade decision legalized abortion in 1973.

I am sorry to report that in the meantime, the number of abortions in the United States has now gone over 55 million. Another huge reason to defeat Barack Obama.

More than four million of those 55 million children died during Obama’s term as president. I have written before that Obama could not have saved them all, but he could have . . . he should have . . . saved many. Instead, Obama has actually worked to expand access to abortion.

That means even more babies dying. So instead of saving as many lives as possible, we have a president who has made things worse.

It’s up to us to change that. Even at this late date in the election, you probably know people who still need to hear a good reason or two to defeat Obama. Women Fear For Rights In Egypt

Women in Egypt have a right to fear for their rights, they are being abolished, the Muslim Brotherhood has informed everyone they will live by  Sharia law. Obama hasn’t helped anyone by demanding Mubarak step down, it has hurt the US, Israel and even Egypt itself.

Mohamed Saad al-Azhari, an ultraconservative Salafi cleric on the panel drafting Egypt’s new constitution. Along with some others on the panel, wants to abolish laws setting 18 as the minimum age of marriage for girls.

Mr Azhari, who vehemently denies accusations that he advocates child marriage, also wants to remove a proposed clause banning the trafficking of women. He said he was concerned it would be used to prosecute parents who marry off their underage daughters. The text now under consideration by the panel only bans slavery and the sex trade.

To the dismay of rights activists, the Islamists who dominate the constitutional panel have also made it clear they favour diluting – or even withdrawing – Egypt’s commitment to international conventions upholding the rights of children and banning discrimination against women. Their argument is that provisions in the agreements breach Islamic law.

Occupy Wall Street Celebrates Anniversary With Rape #OWS

WNEW YORK — New York City police say a man suspected of raping a woman he met at Occupy Wall Street demonstrations has turned himself in — and now is also accused of raping a 14-year-old girl.

As protestors begin to filter into New York City over the weekend to commemorate the anniversary Monday of Occupy Wall Street (OWS), the NYPD is hunting for a rapist among them. Earlier this week, a 56-year-old woman who was in Manhattan to participate in OWS protests was raped and thrown from two stories by an individual she recognized from previous OWS demonstrations. read more

Democratic Platform Endorses Taxpayer-Funded Abortions

Just before midnight on Monday, “The Democratic Party strongly and unequivocally supports Roe v. Wade and a woman’s right to make decisions regarding her pregnancy, including a safe and legal abortion, regardless of ability to pay.”
That last part–”regardless of ability to pay”–is an endorsement of taxpayer-funded abortions, a policy that President Obama has personally endorsed. Obama wants Medicaid to pay directly for elective abortions, and Obamacare will allow beneficiaries to use federal subsidies to purchase health care plans that cover elective abortions. According to a 2009 Quinnipiac poll, 72 percent of voters oppose public funding of abortion and 23 percent support it. In other words, public funding of abortion–a policy President Obama actively supports–is as unpopular as banning abortion in the case of rape, a policy on which the media have focused much attention over the past two weeks despite the fact that neither presidential candidate supports it.

A key criticism of Democrats at the Republican National Convention was the perception that the Obama administration is trying to “divide” Americans according to who they are and what they earn.

At 11:20, she’ll speak to the Hispanic Caucus.

At 12:40, she’ll speak to homosexual activists, delivering remarks at the Human Rights Campaign/Victory Fund Luncheon honoring LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) elected officials.

On Thursday, the first lady and Jill Biden, wife of the vice president, will speak at a women’s caucus meeting, after participating in a USO service project, packing supplies for American troops.

Obamacare Provides Sterilizations For 15 yr olds Without Parental Consent

An obamacare regulation that took place August 1 Oregon will now be required to provide free sterilizations to 15 year old girls if they want one, regardless of what their parents say. Thanks to obama, and Kathleen Sebelius finalized the regulation earlier this year.

It says that all health care plans in the United States–except those provided by actual houses of worship organized under the section of the Internal Revenue Code reserved for churches per se–must provide coverage, without cost-sharing, for sterilizations and all Food and Drug Administration-approved contraceptives to “all women with reproductive capacity.”

In practical terms, “all women with reproductive capacity” means girls as young as about 12. That, according to the National Institutes of Health, is when girls usually start menstruating.

The interviewees were all dead-set on the government not having any place in the bedroom. But following that up with why then should the government pay for the contraception used in the bedroom, they seemed to falter.

California lawmakers, law enforcement heads urged support for sharia law

An expert on Islam is concerned that some California politicians and city officials are ignoring the facts about sharia law.

A town hall meeting at the Islamic Society of Orange County earlier this year declared there is no conflict between sharia law, the U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Several lawmakers and officials in The Golden State — including Democratic U.S. Congresswomen Maxine Waters and Loretta Sanchez; Los Angeles Police Department Deputy Chief Michael Downing; and Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca — urged support for sharia law. In several recently released videos from the event, officials said that sharia is not a threat to the United States. read more

obama conscience tax begins on August 1, Hercules industries based in Denver Colorado won a preliminary injunction in federal court against obama’s fiat for companies to pay for contraceptives, sterilizations and abortifacients. It is only a temporary injunction and only for one company, but without it the Hercules Industry was looking at a 3 million a year fine.

obama Justice Department argues that the Catholic owners of Hercules lost their right to religious liberty the moment they decided to own a business. They claim ‘when followers of a particular sect enter into commercial activity as a matter of choice, the limits they accept on their own conduct as a matter of conscience and faith are not to be superimposed on the statutory schemes which are binding on others in that activity,” read their motion, as reported by FoxNews.com.

The lawyers for Hercules Industries noted the historical audacity of this claim: “Nothing in the Constitution, the Supreme Court’s decisions, or federal law requires — or even suggests — that families forfeit their religious liberty protection when they try to earn a living, such as by operating a corporate business.”
