If anyone is paying attention to the facts regarding our newest Pope they will realize that he is not only from Argentina but he is also from Italian heritage.  The former Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio was unveiled to the world just yesterday March 13th, 2013 at 8:22pm Rome Italy time.  Pope Francis chose his new name after St. Francis of Assisi.  St. Francis’ birth name was Francesco di Pietro di Bernardone. Prior to his becoming Pope, Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio, was known as a “man of the people” he daily rode the bus to his Parish with the “common” every day working person and refused to live in the Cardinals’ Mansion.  He even cooked his own meals.  St. Francis birth-name was indeed Francesco di Pietro di Bernardone which translated into English means literally Peter of Rome.  If one were to research the book The Prophecy of Malachy there would be a complete understanding that the fulfillment of the final prophecy of the final Pope has indeed just occurred.  

If you do not yet have a personal relationship with the living God.  We here at PBN encourage you to get to know and accept the Lord Jesus Christ Who is; The Only Son of God Who suffered and died for you! He gave His life laying it down for all Mankind/Womenkind.  Jesus is The Only Sinless & Perfect Sacrifice for All Mankind.  He conquered death and hell and rose again in fulfillment of scripture.  We encourage you to “be still” wherever you are right now.  Take a moment and ask the Lord of Lords and King of Kings into your heart to be The Lord of your Life today.  Its not too late.  It’s never too late if  you still have breath.  You have not sinned so much that He cant or wont forgive you.  But know that your “goodness” will not be able to save you.  Apart from Jesus’ Blood covering our sins, the bible says we are “as filthy menstrual rags” YUCK!  Our “goodness” can only come from God alone.  The Christian God The Father is the same Old testament God of Abraham, Jacob and Issac.  He is the Messiah that was predicted to come.  He was broken for our transgressions.  His name in Hebrew is Yeshua Ha’ Maschiah. The Lord Jesus Christ. Please, will you ask Jesus the Messiah into your heart today? Just ask God to reveal Himself to you.  He will.  It’s a guaranteed Promise.  Do this now:  ”Confess with your mouth and believe with your heart that Jesus is Lord and you shall be Saved.” 

For all Believers in Jesus, the Bible says we are also known as Believers in “The Way”.  Current events are historical and prophetic.  They are now revealing that The Book of Revelations is underway. “Be ready!”

An author who predicted Pope Benedict XVI would be the first pontiff in nearly 600 years to resign believes the election today of Jorge Mario Bergoglio as the 266th Roman Catholic pontiff lines up with a medieval prophecy that would make him the “final pope” before the End Times.

Tom Horn, co-author with Cris Putman of the book “Petrus Romanus: The Final Pope is Here,” told WND today Bergoglio’s selection was a “fantastic fulfillment of prophecy.”

His book examines St. Malachy’s “Prophecy of the Popes,” said to be based on a prophetic vision of the 112 popes following Pope Celestine II, who died in 1144.

Malachy’s prophecies, first published in 1595, culminate with the “final pope,” “Petrus Romanus,” or “Peter the Roman,” whose reign ends with the destruction of Rome and the judgment of Christ.

Horn has said a pope of Italian descent would fulfill the prophecy, noting Bergoglio is the son of Italian parents and a Jesuit.

“Being a Jesuit is a very important aspect of our prediction in our book,” Horn told WND in an email.

Citing his book, Horn said the name “Petrus Romanus” in the prophecy “implies this pope will reaffirm the authority of the Roman Pontiff over the Church and will emphasize the supremacy of the Roman Catholic Faith and the Roman Catholic Church above all other religions and denominations, and its authority over all Christians and all peoples of the world.”

Horn pointed out the Jesuits order was organized “to stop Protestantism from spreading and to preserve communion with Rome and the successor of Peter.”

He also sees significance in Bergoglio naming himself after Francis of Assisi, an Italian, or Roman, priest whose original name was Francesco di Pietro (Peter) di Bernardone, “literally, Peter the Roman.”

As WND reported, Horn and his co-author, Cris Putnam, predicted in their book Benedict would step down, making way for history’s “final pope.”

Peter the Roman was long ago predicted to be “The Final Pope” before the End of the Age and Christ’s Final Return as The Warrior and King, at least according to the Prophesy of Malachi.  Our newest Pope from Italian heritage, former Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio, chosen just yesterday March 13th, 2013 at 8:22pm Rome Italy time took St. Francis (of Assisi) for his chosen name.  St Francis’ given birth name was Francesco di Pietro di Bernardone which translated into English means literally Peter of Rome.  We happen to be Believers in “The Way” -PBN

The family of an elderly Florida woman is furious that she was hauled off a commuter train because she was singing spirituals and are considering  legal action.

The family of Emma Anderson, 82, claim she was injured by a Metro-Dade Transit security guard who they said roughly yanked her from a train seat and escorted her off the train on Feb. 20.

Anderson of Miami-Dade, was singing spiritual hymns from her train seat when a security guard asked her to stop. The security guard told Anderson that she was being disruptive.

“I was beating my little beads with the bottle and I was singing a song, and he came up to me and said, ‘Ma’am, you’re making too much noise,’” Anderson told ABC News affiliate WPLG.

A passenger started recording Anderson and the guard’s interaction on his cell phone. The video shows Anderson being forcibly removed from the train.

“By what we saw on the footage, she was dragged off the train. She wasn’t escorted,” Anderson’s  son, Kenny Anderson, 42, told ABC News. “She was just singing to the Lord, preaching to the Lord, and he grabbed her bag and drug her off the train.”

Kenny says the security guard pulled the bag his mother was holding so hard that she fell backwards and hurt herself.

“We took her to the hospital and they took X-rays. Doctors say she has a bruised hip and shoulder,” Anderson said.

One of the witnesses is heard on tape demanding the name of the security guard.

A spokesperson for Miami-Dade Transit told WPLG in a statement, “The elderly passenger, Ms. Anderson, who was escorted from a Metrorail train, was initially asked by a security guard to refrain from singing loudly and playing an instrument while on the train. She refused to comply.”

The spokesperson said singing, dancing or playing an instrument are prohibited without permit.

“Ms. Anderson’s singing was causing a disturbance to other passengers and impeding important train announcements from being heard. We regret that Ms. Anderson had to eventually be escorted out, but regardless of age, all passengers need to abide by the rules associated with using transit,” the statement said.

The Anderson family said they have hired an attorney and plan to pursue legal action for their mother’s injuries.

Obama’s Silent Pro-Islamic War Against America Happening On US Soil Now

USA and all of Western Civilization – ask yourself this question. What Christian or Jew would go into a Catholic church or any church or temple and cover a Cross or any Christian or Jewish symbol? None that we know of. But Obama has done such  despicable things.

Why?

Because he is indeed very much not a Christian. Barak Hussein Obama was raised to be Muslim and as such believes what the Koran states: That all Christians/Catholics/Jews and Non-Muslims are “Infidels” = “Worse than Unbelievers.” – Obama is practicing “Taqiyya” which means “to deceive with approval for the purposes of furthering Islam”.  He is fluent in Arabic, reciting Muslim Prayers, and in deciphering the Koran due to his Indonesian & devout Muslim upbringing.  Obama reveres the Koran, unlike the Bible, which he seems  to abhor (revealed by his order to cover the Christ symbol at Georgetown University in a speech dated April 14th, 2009) See bottom of article for proof and link.

For the record, the Bible was written over 600 years before Mohammad plagiarized the Koran.  There is sufficient evidence that the Koran borrowed scripture, which is a crime of forgery, and twisted it by adding the recitations/writings of Muhammad through an alleged vision/trance by a visitation of the “Angel Gabriel”. “Satan comes as an angel of light…” Do not be deceived. “Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist.” – 2 John 1:7. The true Angel Gabriel’s visitation already announced the True Messiah through the Virgin Mary, the Holy Mother of Jesus born not of man’s will but by God the Father’s through the miraculous overshadowing of the Holy Spirit upon the Virgin Mary’s womb.  Jesus, “Emmanuel” means God with Us.

Will The Next Pope Be The Anti-Christ?

In 1139 AD, a man named St. Malachy was given a prophetic vision. He saw all of the Catholic Popes that would come in the future. He wrote down a short description of each one. Throughout history, each one has been accurate. He foresaw 112 Popes until Jesus returned and that # 111 would see the beginning of the tribulation. The current Pope is # 111.  We’ve had 111 since, and are on the verge of seeing No. 112, which Malachy says will be the final pope before the end of the world as we know it.
It gets more interesting.

Papal Prophecies – The End of Religion

Saint Malachy (1094 – November 2, 1148) was known as great prophet. While in Rome in 1139 he received a vision showing him all the Popes from his day to the end of time. According to these prophecies, only two Popes remaining after John Paul II.

St. Malachy was reported to have possessed the powers of levitation, healing, and clairvoyance. While on his way to the Vatican to assume the post of papal legate for Ireland, he fell into trance and saw a line of papal reigns stretching from the successor to Innocent II and extending through centuries to the last of the line, identified as Peter of Rome. Malachy assigned short descriptions in Latin to each pope when he committed his vision to paper. These mottoes usually refer to a family name, birthplace, coat-of-arms, or office held before election to the papacy. Some of the phrases are multiple prophecies, written with ingenious word play.

Through the centuries, his prophecies have turned out to be amazingly accurate, even prophesying the date of his death. In all, 112 popes and their characteristics are listed from 1143 to the alleged end of the world, or perhaps religion as we know it, when truth is inlay revealed about human creation and destiny.

Saint Malachy’s final words were: “Rome, the seat of the Vatican, will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people.”

Prophecy of the Popes is a list of 112 short phrases in Latin. They purport to describe each of the Roman Catholic popes (along with a few anti-popes), beginning with Pope Celestine II (elected in 1143) and concluding with a pope described in the prophecy as “Peter the Roman”, whose pontificate will end in the destruction of the city of Rome.

Malachy’s Prophecies – The Last 10 Popes
1. The Burning Fire. PIUS X. 1903-1914. This Pope showed a burning passion for spiritual renewal in the Church.

2. Religion Laid Waste. BENEDICT XV. 1914-1922. During this Pope’s reign saw Communism move into Russia where religious life was laid waste, and World War I with the death of millions of Christians who were carnage in Flanders Field and elsewhere.

3. Unshaken Faith. PIUS XI. 1922-1939. This Pope faced tremendous pressure from fascist and sinister powers in Germany and Italy, but he was an outspoken critic of Communism and Fascism which enraged Hitler.

4. An Angelic Shepherd. PIUS XII. 1939-1958. This Pope had an affinity for the spiritual world and received visions which have not been made public. Peter Bander says Pius XII “has emerged as one of the great Popes of all time,” and he “was in the truest sense of the word an Angelic Pastor to the flock…”

5. Pastor and Mariner. JOHN XXIII. 1958-1963. John was a pastor to the world, much beloved, and the Patriarch of Venice. The connection to “mariner” is thus remarkable.

6. Flower of Flowers. PAUL VI. 1963-1978. Paul’s coat-of-arms depicts three fleurs-de-lis, corresponding to Malachay’s prophecy. His coat of arms included three fleurs-de-lis (iris blossoms).

7. Of the Half Moon. JOHN PAUL I. 1978-1978. John Paul I was elected Pope on August 26, 1978, when there was a half moon. He reigned 33 days, that is, about one month, when he died, although many think he was murdered. He was the 109th Pope – is “De Medietate Lunae” (Of the Half Moon). The corresponding pope was John Paul I (1978-78), who was born in the diocese of Belluno (beautiful moon) and was baptized Albino Luciani (white light). He became pope on August 26, 1978, when the moon appeared exactly half full. It was in its waning phase. He died the following month, soon after an eclipse of the moon.

8. The Labor of the Son. JOHN PAUL II. 1978-2005. Pope John Paul II was the most traveled Pope in history. He circled the globe numerous times, preaching to huge audiences everywhere he went. He survived an assassination attempt. He has written a book which has enjoyed a large circulation. Like the sun which never ceases to labor and provides light daily, this Pope has been incessant. He was born on May 18, 1920. On that date in the morning there was a near total eclipse of the sun over Europe. Prophecy – The 110th Pope is “De Labore Solis” (Of the Solar Eclipse, or, From the Toil of the Sun). Like the sun he came out of the East (Poland).

9. The Glory of the Olive. The Order of St. Benedict has said this Pope will come from their order. It is interesting that Jesus gave his apocalyptic prophecy about the end of time from the Mount of Olives. This Pope will reign during the beginning of the tribulation Jesus spoke of. The 111th prophesy is “Gloria Olivae” (The Glory of the Olive). The Order of Saint Benedict has claimed that this pope will come from their ranks. Saint Benedict himself prophesied that before the end of the world his Order, known also as the Olivetans, will triumphantly lead the Catholic Church in its fight against evil.

10. PETER THE ROMAN – This final Pope will likely be Satan, taking the form of a man named Peter who will gain a worldwide allegiance and adoration. He will be the final antichrist which prophecy students have long foretold. If it were possible, even the very elect would be deceived. The 112th prophesy states: “In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Petrus Romanus, who will feed his flock amid many tribulations; after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. The End.

St. Malachy prophesied that the final pope would be “Peter the Roman”, which is interesting because no pope to date has chosen the name of Peter out of respect for Peter the Apostle. There has also been speculation that the final pope would be black. Even more curiously, there is a black cardinal in Ghana, Peter Turkson, who is believed to be a frontrunner and whose name has come up in previous discussions of papal appointment.

Cardinal Turkson has said in the past that “if God would wish to see a black man also as pope, thanks be to God.” Catholic Church chronicler Rocco Palmo has called Turkson the lone Scripture scholar in the Pope’s “Senate”, and believes that his status as a potential “papabile” has been elevated due to his 2009 appointment as spokesman for the Second Synod for Africa.

Outside of the Church, there are also many who believe that Turkson is the favorite to take over as pontiff. Even the London bookmakers believe he’s the top choice. Odds comparison site Oddschecker.com lists Turkson at best price odds of 4/1, and as short as 2/1 with some firms. Francis Arinze, the Nigerian Cardinal, is also a huge favorite with the bookies.

There are some who insist that Malachy did not say that the last pope he mentioned would be the 112th pope, insisting that he was merely the last, and theorizing that there could be more popes to come between Benedict and “Peter the Roman”. However, this is not a belief that everyone subscribes to and many believe that “Peter the Roman” will be both the 112th and last pope of the Catholic Church.

Malachy’s prophecies are taken very seriously as they’ve been uncannily accurate to date. Will the Catholic Church get its first black pope? Will “Peter the Roman” lead us into the End Times? These questions are set to be answered by Easter, which comes this year at the end of March, when the papal conclave announces their decision.

Pope Benedict XVI announced his decision to step down due to health concerns just days ahead of the start of the Lenten season. He is due to step down officially on February 28. The announcement surprised even his inner circle, who were said to be unaware that he was planning to step down.

Benghazi: Retaliation For Brennan’s Secret Wars

Many refer to the President of the United States, leader of the sole superpower in the world, as the most powerful person on the face of the Earth. It follows then that Barack Hussein Obama, as President, would be considered this person.

But that would be an incorrect conclusion. Even Obama with his “we can’t wait for Congress to act” meme, spurning the legislative branch, spurning the checks and balances the Founding Fathers put in place—even with Obama spurning the Courts in the recent NLRB ruling deeming his “recess” appointments unconstitutional, there is one man who wields more power than Obama: CIA appointee John Brennan.

How can that be? Brennan is man who is actually relatively low in the White House food chain, who is nothing more than an adviser to the President, with the title of Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism.

Yet this man has a virtually unchecked amount of power—no, let us call it for what it is—unchecked power. Congress, the Courts, the CIA, even the Pentagon have no reign over this man as we shall see in a moment.

It was recently discovered that Brennan, running something akin to a fiefdom with his drone assassination program, has the power to decide who lives and who dies and doesn’t have to provide evidence to any entity that the “target” presents any threat to America—even if they are an American—even if the American is living in the United States!

Investigative Reporter Michael Isikoff uncovered a secret memo, entitled:

“Lawfulness of a Lethal Operation Directed Against a U.S. Citizen who is a Senior Operational Leader of Al Qa’ida or An Associated Force.”

The memo gives the Obama Administration—in effect Brennan—the authority to kill any American citizen at anytime for any reason without proof, without due process, and with absolutely no oversight.

The key passage in the sixteen page memo is the following:

The condition that an operational leader present an “imminent” threat of violent attack against the United States does not require the United States to have clear evidence that a specific attack on U.S. persons and interests will take place in the immediate future.

This was the basis for the drone strike against American-born al-Qaeda-linked terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki in September of 2011 in Yemen. And this was the basis of the murder of al-Awlaki’s sixteen-year-old son Abdulrahman, along with several other teenagers who were engaged in an outdoor barbecue. While it is debatable whether al-Awlaki as an American citizen should have received due process, it is doubtful that his son, murdered two weeks after al-Awlaki, had any connection to al-Qaeda.

But this unchecked power exercised by John Brennan is mild compared to what we learned with the recent release of an extensive book on the Benghazi consulate attack on September 11, 2012.

The book, Benghazi: The Definitive Report, released on February 12 makes the shocking claim that Obama’s chief counter terrorism officer, John Brennan, aside from having the authority to murder American citizens, has been waging a series of secret wars in North Africa and the Middle East against Al Qaeda and Al-Qaeda-linked groups. How secret? So secret that he and his minions at JSOC, Joint Special Operations Command, operated not only outside the purview of Congress but outside the purview of the Pentagon and CIA. Former CIA head David Petraeus wasn’t even aware of Brennan’s secret wars!

According to Benghazi: The Definitive Report, the attack on the Benghazi consulate had nothing to do with, as we were told, an amateurish anti-Muslim YouTube video leading to a “protest turned violent,” but was retaliation for John Brennan’s JSOC attacks on the Libya-based terrorist group, Ansar al-Sharia. This was the group that we learned had taken responsibility within two hours of the attack, of which information was emailed directly to the White House Situation Room. After said information was uncovered, the Obama administration denied was true.

It turns out that, per the book, the West, particularly the United States, leading up to the 2011 Libyan civil war had been flooding Libya with literally millions of weapons. After the West—NATO, with Obama at the helm—decided to topple Gaddafi, these millions of weapons then fell into Al-Qaeda and associated groups’ hands. And what Team Obama wasn’t funneling to the Syrian rebels (what Benghazi: The Definitive Report calls an “open secret”)—they wanted to get back from groups such as Ansar al-Sharia. Brennan, throughout North Africa, had been conducting his secret JSOC wars against al-Qaeda and associated groups; and lo and behold, yes, Mr. Brennan, there was retaliation. And that retaliation resulted in the deaths of four Americans at the consulate in Benghazi on the anniversary of 9/11.

The whole Obama Benghazi cover-up was only partially about hiding the illegal funneling of Libyan weapons to Syria and was mainly about the real—but illegal—Commander-in-Chief John Brennan conducting secret wars in Libya—without approval from Congress, without approval from the Pentagon, and hidden even from the CIA, with only a behind-doors approval by Barack Hussein Obama.

How can the “adviser” to Obama—John Brennan—have the authority to make war on any country in the world?

The answer is he doesn’t have the authority.

Brennan should be arrested, not appointed to lead the CIA. And the man who is doing the appointing—Barack Hussein Obama—should be immediately impeached.

After he is impeached?

Prison will come in due time.

Fort Hood Victims ‘BETRAYED’ by Obama [NEW VIDEO]

Obama has a knack for betraying those closest to him. But when dissenters or military are in his path, he will do all he can to destroy them. Truly, the only way to be on a the side of those against the USA is to take a stance against the USA. Obama and his cabinet are an enemy within our country, they are practicing taqiyya and the only way to rid ourselves of these parasites is by sharing the truth and doing your part at every opportunity.

The heroine police sergeant who helped stop the Fort Hood killing spree and went on to sit with the First Lady at President Obama’s State of the Union speech three years ago has been laid off and says she and other victims of the shootings have been “betrayed” by the commander-in-chief.

“Betrayed is a good word,” former Sgt. Kimberly Munley told ABC News in an interview Tuesday. “Not to the least little bit have the victims been taken care of. In fact, they’ve been neglected.”

Maj. Nidal Hasan is accused of the November 2009 spree, which left 13 dead and 32 shot at the military base in Texas. Munley was shot three times as she and her partner confronted Hasan. Prosecutors say Hasan was a disgruntled Army psychiatrist and Muslim who had become radicalized through communications with Al Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki.

Hasan is awaiting a military trial on murder charges.

Munley said she has been laid off from her position on Fort Hood’s civilian police force.

The White House and Pentagon have refused to characterize the attack as terrorism, instead terming it “workplace violence.” The victims have been denied Purple Hearts and are suing the military because they claim the “workplace violence” designation gives them diminished access to medical care and financial benefits normally available to those whose wounds are designated as “combat related.”

An Army spokesman told ABC none of the military victims have been neglected and that it has no oversight of Veterans Administration policies.

Munley told the network the White House used her for political advantage by having her sit next to Michelle Obama during the president’s 2010 State of the Union address.

Some of the victims “had to find civilian doctors to get proper medical treatment” and the military has not assigned liaison officers to help them coordinate their recovery, said the group’s lawyer, Reed Rubinstein.

“There’s a substantial number of very serious, crippling cases of post-traumatic stress disorder exacerbated, frankly, by what the Army and the Defense Department did in this case,” said Rubinstein. “We have a couple of cases in which the soldiers’ command accused the soldiers of malingering, and would say things to them that Fort Hood really wasn’t so bad, it wasn’t combat.”

Pentagon Press Secretary George Little said the Department of Defense is “committed to the highest care of those in our military family.”

“Survivors of the incident at Fort Hood are eligible for the same medical benefits as all servicemembers,” said Little. “The Department of Defense is also committed to the integrity of the ongoing court martial proceedings of Major Nidal Hasan and for that reason will not at this time further characterize the incident.”

Secretary of the Army John McHugh told ABC News he was unaware of any specific complaints from the Fort Hood victims, even though he is a named defendant in the lawsuit filed last November which specifically details the plight of many of them.

“If a soldier feels ignored, then we need to know about it on a case by case basis,” McHugh told ABC News. “It is not our intent to have two levels of care for people who are wounded by whatever means in uniform.”

Some of the victims in the lawsuit believe the Army Secretary and others are purposely ignoring their cases out of political correctness.

Despite extensive evidence that Hasan was in communication with al Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki prior to the attack, the military has denied the victims a Purple Heart and is treating the incident as “workplace violence” instead of “combat related” or terrorism.

Al-Awlaki has since been killed in a U.S. drone attack in Yemen, in what was termed a major victory in the U.S. efforts against al Qaeda.

Munley and dozens of other victims have now filed a lawsuit against the military alleging the “workplace violence” designation means the Fort Hood victims are receiving lower priority access to medical care as veterans, and a loss of financial benefits available to those who injuries are classified as “combat related.”

In other words, how convenient to have high-placed CIA agents following the “holy struggle” of “jihad.” Quoting John Brennan, ”Jihad is a Holy Struggle.” Guandolo cites two sources, whom he says he is “close” to, and who shall remain unnamed due to their current and continued active duty. He specifically says, one or maybe both of these men “witnessed” the conversion but refused to elaborate. Guandolo is being very careful to explain that the problem is not that Brennan converted to Islam but that he was “turned” by the Saudi government. Perhaps Sarah Palin said it best:

In the early portion of the 2-1/2 hour video Guandolo makes these three central points (my loose transcript – not word for word, but close).John Brennan

1. Brennan has interwoven his life, personally and professionally, with individuals we know are terrorists. Has given them access, not only senior leaders inside the government but has given them access to the National Security Council, the National Security Staff, has brought known Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood operatives into known positions in government. He has overseen, approved and encouraged leaders of Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood into the government to advise on counterterrorism strategy as well as the over-all “War on Terror.”

2. Brennan has proven through his own comments, publicly, that he is clueless and grossly ignorant of al-Qaeda’s strategy. He said al-Qaeda is the enemy. We know that is not the total threat. When he discusses al-Qaeda, he doesn’t know what he is talking about. He is ignorant of their strategy and how they operate.

3. Many believe most disturbing is his conversion to Islam when he served in an official capacity on behalf of the United States in Saudia Arabia. “That fact alone is not what is most disturbing, and makes him unfit for duty. What makes him unfit for duty is his conversion to Islam was the culmination of a counter-intelligence operation against  him, to convert him. The fact that foreign service operatives recruited Mr. Brennan when he was in a very sensitive and senior government position in a foreign country, means that he is either a traitor, which I’m not saying but that’s one of the options, and he did this all willingly and knowingly or he did it unwillingly and unwittingly, which means he is naive, does not understand…he has the inability to discern and understand that environment, which makes him completely unfit to be the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency.

Whether Brennan was “turned” or converted willingly or didn’t convert and/or was not “turned,” we have his own public comments. Guandualo’s first two reasons above for Brennan’s unfitness for National Security is enough and been long known.

Remember that not long after 9/11/01, the Pentagon invited Anwar al-Awlaki to dine, and Capitol Hill invited him to pray, knowing that he had purchased airline tickets for three 9/11 hijackers in July and August before the attacks. Nevertheless, he dined on my dime and prayed publicly for something that in his heart he did not believe.

It would be interesting to know if the current Senate confirmations have referred to his CIA Station Chief status in Saudia Arabia because there are no in-depth reports of that important time in his background. It is mentioned, but barely. The following is the one time I can find that service dated, other than Guandolo also saying it was in the 90s. Brennan has referred to his service numerous times, but always without a date, and used it only to praise Islam. Brennan’s bio on WhiteHouse.gov is a blank page. I’m not saying there isn’t more out there, I’m just not finding it and that’s odd. The Senate should be asking.

Our government is rife with Muslims. The halls of Capitol Hill escort them as they lobby the Muslim staffers placed throughout the building. Dittos for the Whitehouse and Homeland Security. That we have been infiltrated is not in doubt. And yes, I distrust any Muslim in government service. It’s a shame, but I am not ashamed to say it. I know what the Koran says. Whether a Muslim chooses to follow every chapter, verse or the hadiths, is not the issue. The fact that Jihad against infidels disqualifies Muslims for government service. Come here, enjoy this country, have your children here, give them and yourselves a wonderful life, and work in the private sector, not the public sector. What? No cushy government jobs with lifetimes pensions for Muslims, paid by my tax money and yours? Yes, that’s my position and I understand that some will be unfairly caught in that safety net…but the Koran is the Koran. It’s not my fault.

From my perspective, and in my opinion, if Brennan follows the Koran, he doesn’t follow a religion, but a government which is a religion and calls for infidels to die or submit. Everything within Islam is governed by the Koran. We can discuss the talking points of “Jihad is a Holy Struggle,” a comment made Brennan, when he clearly states that the “Holy Struggle” does not condone “the killing of innocent men, women and children,” but if National Security is any issue at all, it is past time to do what Dr. Benjamin Carson suggested at the National Day of Prayer this week, and trash the politically correct nonsense (transcript).

Another point I need to make here, is the woman you hear speaking the video brings up the fact that she cannot find whether or not Brennan is married, and there is some talk that he is gay. Brennan introduced his wife Katy (of quite a number of years if I remember correctly) at the hearing. They have three children. A gay issue was not a part of Guandolo’s conversation. Libs: Explain Why Water Boarding is Evil but Indiscriminate Killing of Civilians Isn’t [VIDEOS]

Washington - According to John Brenner, Obama’s pick for Director of the CIA, everything is fair in love and war except water boarding. While he defended the drone program at yesterday’s Senate nomination hearing, he depicted water boarding as reprehensible.

John Brenner, in a rare display of bipartisanship, came under fire by both Democrats and Republicans during his nomination hearing in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee. In what the Washington Post described as one of the most heated sessions for a nominee in a decade, Brennan was asked to defend the refusal by the administration to provide basic information on the drone program, including the death toll. To make the point, he was prodded to square this with his assertion that he opposed enhanced interrogation methods, known as water boarding. Earlier this week a White Paper was leaked and published by NBC news that justified killing American citizens abroad provided that they were an imminent threat to the United States, as determined by a high level administration official. The White Paper was vague enough to allow the execution unchecked.

A Justice Department White paper issued late Monday, justifies killing Americans abroad if they pose an imminent threat to the United States. The document details that the American citizen has to be associated group and poses an imminent threat to the United States.

The document further details that the imminent threat does not have to be based on intelligence of a specific attack, but “imminence must incorporate considerations of the relevant window of opportunity.” It must also take collateral damage to civilians into consideration.

While Brennan defended the White Paper policy and the drone program in general, he said that the water boarding undertaken by the Bush administration was reprehensible and had to be stopped. Brennan wasn’t sure if the enhanced interrogation program was effective and if it had yield any useful information.

On a second controversial topic, he said that after reading a classified intelligence report on harsh interrogation techniques, he does not know if water boarding has yielded useful information.

Despite what he called a public misimpression, Brennan told the Senate Intelligence Committee that drone strikes are used only against targets planning to carry out attacks against the United States, never as retribution for an earlier one. “Nothing could be further from the truth,” he declared.

Republicans have claimed that water boarding indeed yielded results and information extracted that vital information and possibly thwarted dozens of attack and may have led to the capture of Osama Bin Ladin.

This was confirmed in an interview of retired Central Intelligence Agency field officer John Kiriakou, who headed he interrogation of Zubaydah in Pakistan after his capture in 2002.

Kiriakou told ABC that Zubaydah was waterboarded — a technique in which the person being interrogated is made to feel as if he is being drowned — after initially refusing to cooperate with those questioning him.

Zubaydah withstood the waterboarding for “quite some time” — about 30 to 35 seconds — Kiriakou said in the ABC interview.

“The next day, he told his interrogator that Allah had visited him in his cell during the night and told him to cooperate,” Kiriakou told ABC. “From that day on, he answered every question. The threat information he provided disrupted a number of attacks, maybe dozens of attacks.”

While Brennan supports the Obama administration drone program, he said that it has to be acknowledged publicly.

Apparently Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA) was not too impressed with Brenner’s answers. She opined that this rationale was long gone. She said that she thought the administration was victim of its own secrecy.

She said that she had sought permission to disclose estimates of civilian casualties attributed to the drone program, but was told she couldn’t since it was classified. For the public, the drone program doesn’t exist.

She also indicated, for the first time, that she plans to have the committee examine the creation of a special court to evaluate evidence against Americans who might be targeted, similar to the scrutiny applied to government monitoring of the communications of Americans suspected of having connections to terrorist groups.

Although the public and the media have been aware of the drone program, particularly the drone strikes into Pakistan, this week was the first time that the administration publicly acknowledged it.

Since 9/11 the CIA has transformed into a powerful para military arm of the US administration. While it still collects data from all corners of the world it has become more and more involved in striking foreign targets with drones from a distance. The whole operation can be likened to a computer game, where the operators guide a drone to its target often more than 10,000 miles removed. No stench, no noise and no real evidence of collateral destruction. Clinical and clean with minimum psychological effect on the operators, the program has become an effective tool for the administration.

If John Brennan were confirmed, he would be the most experienced director in decades, having served 25 years in the agency.

The question is if water boarding is so reprehensible, why isn’t the indiscriminate killing of civilians?

WASHINGTON — Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta told Congress on Thursday that the Pentagon had supported a plan to arm Syrian rebels that was developed last year by David H. Petraeus, the C.I.A. director at the time, and backed by Hillary Rodham Clinton, who was then serving as Secretary of State.

The White House, however, was worried about the risks of getting more deeply involved in the crisis in Syria. And with President Obama in the midst of a re-election bid, the White House rebuffed the plan, rejecting the advice of most of the key members of Mr. Obama’s national security team.

The New York Times reported in its Sunday editions that as the fighting in Syria raged last summer, Mr. Petraeus developed the plan, which Mrs. Clinton supported and that called for vetting rebels and training fighters who would be supplied with weapons.

His proposal offered the potential reward of creating Syrian allies with whom the United States might work, during the conflict and after President Bashar al-Assad’s eventual removal.

Some administration officials expected the issue to be revisited again after the election. But when Mr. Petraeus resigned because of an extramarital affair and Mrs. Clinton suffered a concussion, missing weeks of work, the issue was shelved.

Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta was said by some officials to have been sympathetic to the idea, which was presented to the White House last year, though a spokesman for Mr. Panetta declined to comment on his role when asked last week.

General Dempsey made his comments during testimony with Mr. Panetta on the Sept. 11 attack on an American compound on Benghazi, Libya, which led to the deaths of J. Christopher Stevens, the American ambassador, and three other Americans.

Discussing steps to improve security at American compounds abroad, Mr. Panetta said that it would take two to three years to add the 35 new Marine security guard detachments that the United States plans to deploy to improve the security of American diplomatic compounds abroad.

The Marines have guard units at 152 diplomatic compounds, but did not have one in Benghazi when the assault occurred. Mr. Panetta said that the role of the Marines detachments would be expanded beyond protecting classified information at the compounds.

“This could include expanded use of nonlethal weapons, and additional training and equipment, to support the Embassy Regional Security Officer’s response options when host nation security force capabilities are at risk of being overwhelmed,” Mr. Panetta said in his prepared remarks.

Mr. Panetta said that the Pentagon was not able to respond more quickly to the Benghazi episode because it had not received an intelligence alert about animpending attack.

“Without adequate warning, there was not enough time given the speed of the attack for armed military assets to respond,” Mr. Panetta told the committee in his prepared statement.

When the attack began, the Pentagon had no forces that could be rapidly sent to Benghazi or to protect diplomatic outposts in Tunisia, Egypt or Algeria that might also have come under assault on the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

The closest AC-130 gunship was in Afghanistan. There are no armed drones thought to be within range of Libya. There was no Marine expeditionary unit — a large seaborne force with its own helicopters — in the Mediterranean Sea.

The Africa Command, whose area of operation includes North Africa, also did not have on hand a force able to respond rapidly to emergencies — a Commanders’ In-Extremis Force, or C.I.F., as it is known. Every other regional command had one at the time, but the Africa Command shared one with the European Command, and it was on an exercise in Croatia at the time.

In his prepared remarks, Mr. Panetta did not address the question of whether the Africa Command had requested any of these forces to be on hand on the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Nor did he say whether Mr. Panetta or General Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, had given any thought to moving forces to the region as a precaution before the attacks in September last year.

Senator McCain criticized the Pentagon for not positioning more forces in the region before the anniversary of Sept. 11 so they could more rapidly respond.

“We could have placed forces there,” he said. “We could have had aircraft and other capabilities as short distance away as Souda Bay, Crete.”

Last Updated, 4:54 p.m. Speaking on camera for the first time since she survived an assassination attempt by the Pakistani Taliban last year, the young activist Malala Yousafzai began with the words, “Today you can see that I’m alive.” The 15-year-old, who was shot in the head as she left school in Pakistan’s Swat Valley four months ago, promised that she would continue to be an outspoken advocate of the right for “every girl, every child, to be educated.”

In the brief statement, the young advocate attributed her survival to the prayers of her supporters and urged them to contribute to a fund established in her name to further the cause of education for girls. “Because of these prayers, God has given me this new life,” Ms. Yousafzai said. “And this is a second life; this is a new life. And I want to serve, I want to serve the people.”

The English-language statement was recorded just before Ms. Yousafzaiunderwent surgery at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, England, over the weekend to repair damage to her skull caused by the bullet fired into her head at point-blank range in October.

On Monday, the hospital released more video of the young patient, speaking to one of her doctors after the five-hour operation to reconstruct her skull and implant a device to restore hearing to her left ear.

At a news conference on Monday, Dr. Anwen White, the neurosurgeon who led the reconstructive surgery, and Dr. Dave Rosser, the hospital’s medical director, explained that the titanium cranioplasty, which involved repairing the missing area of her skull with a specially molded titanium plate, “went very well.” (Video of the news conference was posted online by Britain’s Channel 4 News and the hospital uploaded images of the surgery in progress to YouTube.)

An update posted on the hospital’s Web site explained that, after the skull surgery, “Malala then had a cochlear implant fitted – a small, complex electronic device that provides a sense of sound to someone who is profoundly deaf or severely hard of hearing. The cochlear implant is to restore hearing to her left ear after she was left deaf in that ear by the bullet.”

As Fatima Manji of Britain’s Channel 4 News reports, the activist alsorecorded statements in Urdu and Pashto, languages spoken in Pakistan and Afghanistan. In the Urdu version, Ms. Manji notes, the girl said, “I would be willing to sacrifice myself again.”

COPENHAGEN, Denmark — A gunman tried to shoot a Danish writer and prominent critic of Islam, but the writer managed to fend him off and was not injured in the attack, police and an advocacy group he chairs said.

Police said Lars Hedegaard, who heads two groups that claim press freedom is under threat from Islam, was the target of the shooting. In a brief statement, they said a roughly 25-year-old gunman rang the doorbell at the writer’s Copenhagen home and when he opened the door, the gunman fired a shot aimed at his head, but missed.

“After a scuffle the attacker fled. At this writing we do not know whether the police have apprehended him,” the Danish Free Press Society said.

Hedegaard, 70, heads both the Free Press Society and the International Free Press Society. He was fined 5,000 kroner ($1,000) in 2011 for making a series of insulting and degrading statements about Muslims.

Denmark’s Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt condemned the attack. “It is even worse if the attack is rooted in an attempt to prevent Lars Hedegaard to use his freedom of expression,” she told Danish news agency Ritzau.

Hedegaard has expressed support for a range of outspoken Islam critics in Europe, including Swedish artist Lars Vilks and Dutch lawmaker Geert Wilders.

“Failed attack on my friend and Islam critic Lars Hedegaard in Denmark this morning. My thoughts are with him. Terrible,” Wilders tweeted.

The Free Press Society said it was “shaken and angry” over the attack, but “relieved that the perpetrator did not succeed.”
