90,609,000: Americans Not in Labor Force Climbs to Another Record

Just more proof that our current president is the worst president of the United States yet. There could be a worse one still to come, but they would have a lot of goals to hit before they even came close. If you look at the current unemployment numbers they won’t reflect this, but they’re skewed and everybody knows it. With nearly a third of our country out of work (and that’s even counting those who can’t work), we believe Obama is nearing his goal of total reliance on government. –PBN

(CNSNews.com) – The number of Americans who are 16 years or older and who have decided not to participate in the nation’s labor force has climbed to a record 90,609,000  in September, according to data released today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The BLS counts a person as participating in the labor force if they are 16 years or older and either have a job or have actively sought a job in the last four weeks. A person is not participating in the labor force if they are 16 or older and have not sought a job in the last four weeks.

In from July to August, according to BLS, Americans not participating in the labor force climbed from 89,957,000 to 90,473,000, pushing past 90,000,000 for the first time, with a one month increase of 516,000.

In September, it climbed again to 90,609,000, an increase of 136,000 during the month.

In January 2009, when President Barack Obama took office, there were 80,507,000 Americans not in the labor force. Thus, the number of Americans not in the labor force has increased by 10,102,000 during Obama’s presidency. read more

Union thugs set up ‘walk of shame’ at Michigan Capitol

Public sector unions appear to be determined to convince us all how useless and dangerous they have become. -PBN

You know how it is in politics, right? You win some, you lose some. If a vote doesn’t go your way, you’re disappointed, but you pick yourself up, dust yourself off and move on. You don’t cling to your anger like grim death because that’s pointless and only prolongs your bitterness.

Right?

Ha ha! Just kidding. Right-to-work may now be a settled issue in Michigan, but just because the unions lost and that’s that doesn’t mean that will be that. It must be understood: Cross the unions and you will pay a steep price, and you will never stop paying. Hence the chant: “No union, no peace.”

By DAN CALABRESE – “No union, no peace.”

The only problem is that not a single Republican lawmaker took the bait and walked past the hissy-fitters, save for this one guy who didn’t look like anyone. He was only Dick Posthumus, the former Republican Senate Majority Leader, 2002 Republican nominee for governor and current top-level advisor to Gov. Rick Snyder. The union thugs didn’t recognize him. They also gathered at the wrong entrance to the Capitol Building, apparently not realizing that most lawmakers enter the back door because it’s adjacent to their parking lot. Ah well. Too bad because look at what they missed:

Before the noon start of today’s ceremonial session, members of We are Michigan, who organized the demonstration, plan to deliver fresh cookies to lawmakers who opposed right-to-work and “broken cookies for broken promises” to those who opposed it.

Demonstrators chanted, “No union, no peace,” and carried signs with message such as “RTW, Wrong for Michigan,” and placards with photos of Republican lawmakers with the word “Shame” stamped across their faces.

Broken cookies? What kind? Were they still fresh? Hey, they break in your mouth anyway.

I do like the whole “shame” thing. It’s almost as if the unions see themselves like that kid on the playground who gets picked on by a bigger kid, and then the playground monitor comes up and whoops the bully saying, “You should be ashamed of yourself! Look how much bigger you are than him!”

I really think, deep down, that’s how they see themselves. They really don’t think they can make it in life but for the benevolent advocacy of their unions, aided by pro-union legislation, and any action that tilts the playing field even slightly in favor of someone other than them is cause for shame because these salt-of-the-earth working people are helpless without these legal guarantees. It’s the same thinking that justifies their use of violence and just general hissy fits in response to anyone who opposes their agenda.

“What do you expect us to do? Function in the free market? You know we haven’t got it in us to succeed at that.”

They won’t admit that’s what they think of themselves. They bluster about how union-made products are so superior and everything else is cheap crap, etc. But they know it’s not true. Many of them would be fired in a minute if their union didn’t protect them, and that’s what they really fear when the union is weakened by right-to-work laws.

Will New Black Panthers be back this year

“I hate white people, every last iota of a cracker I hate him, you want freedom, you’re going to have to kill some crackers, you’re gonna have to kill some of they babies” –King Samir Shabazz (real name Maurice Heath)

The Black Panthers are back, and dressed in black for Tuesday’s election – the uber-controversial New Black Panther Party.

But now with 100 percent less nightstick!!

The national leader of the group, Malik Zulu Shabazz, told a radio interviewer in September that the New Black Panthers – labeled a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center and others for its anti-white and anti-Semitic rhetoric – might be out monitoring some polling places again in 2012.

“I will say that as this election comes up in November, we will consider our options,” he told WABC Radio’s “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio” show. “And we will consider the fact whether we will legally and lawfully go to the polls again to make sure there is no intimidation against our people, which was our intent in 2008.”

But Malik Zulu Shabazz told the interviewer, “No, sir,” when asked if any poll-watchers would have nightsticks or other weapons.

Alabama Workers Being Denied in New Jersey Because They’re Non-Union

I can not believe my ears, obama the man all about cutting the red tape after Sandy devastated the East Coast, but Alabama utility workers were turned away because they were not UNIONS? What has happen to the people in America, it is sad to see Americans reaching out to help those in need only to be turned away by government because they don’t meet the governments status quo… Incredible.

Utility crews from Alabama ready to help hurricane stricken and desperate people in New Jersey without power have been told to “stand down” and some are already headed back home. Why? Because they’re non-union workers. Keep in mind there are still millions of people in New Jersey without power and many who have been stranded for days as a result. The crews drove 900 miles to reach the area effected by Sandy and this is how they were received:

Crews from Huntsville, as well as Decatur Utilities and Joe Wheeler out of Trinity headed up there this week, but Derrick Moore, one of the Decatur workers, said they were told by crews in New Jersey that they can’t do any work there since they’re not union employees.

The crews that are in Roanoke, Virginia say they are just watching and waiting even though they originally received a call asking for help from Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

The crews were told to stand down. In fact, Moore said the crew from Trinity is already headed back home.

Understandably, Moore said they’re frustrated being told “thanks, but no thanks.”

Quarter-billion-dollar stimulus grant creates just 400 jobs

The Massachusetts-based battery maker A123 Systems received a $249 million grant in December 2009 through President Obama’s stimulus program, of which the company received about $129 million before it went bankrupt this month. Like all other recipients of stimulus loans or grants, A123 Systems was required to report job creation statistics to Recovery.gov.

The latest quarterly report on file with a federal stimulus tracking database shows just seven positions created through the grant from April to June this year. Previous quarters’ job reports contained anywhere from a handful of positions created to more than 100 new jobs.

But even when the quarterly reports are combined, a total of 408 new positions were reported under the stimulus program since 2009, amounting to more than $300,000 spent for each new job reported.

The Spin Begins Over Jeep Moving To China

topBloomberg’s interview with Jeep’s president said the automaker plans to restore Jeep production in China, suspended in 2009, and is considering making all Jeeps in China. “Fiat SpA, majority owner of Chrysler Group LLC, plans to return Jeep output to China and may eventually make all of its models in that country, according to the head of both automakers’ operations in the region,” reported the business wire service.

Mike Manley, chief operating officer of Fiat and Chrysler in Asia and president of the Jeep brand, told Bloomberg, “We’re reviewing the opportunities within existing capacity” as well as “should we be localizing the entire Jeep portfolio or some of the Jeep portfolio” to China.

Chrysler builds Jeep SUV models at plants in Michigan, Illinois and Ohio. Manley said the firm is in talks with China’s Guangzhou Automobile Group Co.

Let the spin begin, those worried this might effect obama’s chances even more to be re-elected are now saying Bloomberg is making Jeeps president statement to say what they want them to, In other words they are taking them out of context

It looks pretty straight forward to me, if you say you are considering China to make your product, it is hard to take that out of context.

Romney at a speech in Ohio told the crowd he had read this article, now liberals are having heart spasms trying to tell the world that HE, Romney lied and is using scare tactics, even if the Bloomberg article is wrong, Romney wouldn’t be the one guilty of lies. I read that same article and it clearly says Jeep is moving to China~

Video snags Dem boss plotting vote fraud

The son of Rep. Jim Moran, D-Va. – who serves as the field director for his father’s campaign – has been caught on video advising an undercover reporter how to fraudulently cast ballots in the name of registered voters by forging utility bills and relying on the assistance of Democrat lawyers.

James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas, known for its hidden-camera probe of the controversial national community organizing group tied to Obama, ACORN, carried out the investigation and provided the video exclusively to WND.

UPDATE: After this story was published today, Patrick Moran announced his immediate resignation from the Moran for Congress campaign.

Jim Moran, 67, a controversial figure in Congress, has been criticized for his collaboration with Islamic leaders with ties to terrorism. In 2003, Moran, then a regional whip in the House of Representatives, was punished by House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi after he suggested Jews were responsible for the push for war against Iraq.

His son, Patrick Moran, was videoed by the undercover reporter Oct. 8 at the Cosi Restaurant in Arlington, Va., just across the Potomac River from the nation’s capital.

The Project Veritas video shows the undercover reporter posing as a citizen concerned that the Democratic Party might lose power in the upcoming Nov. 6 elections. The reporter explains to Moran that he had been apolitical but got his girlfriend pregnant and was concerned about the political threat to the funding of “reproductive services.”

The reporter, who approaches Moran at the restaurant, says he has a friend who found the names of 100 Virginia residents who have been registered the past three elections but have not voted.

Moran initially thinks the reporter’s intent is to offer the registered voters a ride to the polling place on Election Day to ensure they cast their ballots.

But the reporter states he and his friend actually want to vote in the name of the Virginia residents.

The conversation goes like this:

Obama’s Jobs Plan Booklet Filled With More of his Rhetoric and Lies

I know it won’t work, but I need you to believe the LIES… BHO

obama had a jobs plan not too long ago, every Democrat voted against it… now he is out with a new one in a shiny new folder to boot…and he wants you to believe it is your guide for the next 4 years…Reality? It is eleven pages of fluff…

In his brochure he has: “I will not stand by when our competitors don’t play by the rules. We’ve brought
trade cases against China at nearly twice the rate as the last administration –
and it’s made a difference.” – President Obama

It’s a lie, in fact he bought ONE less trade case against China than Bush did. PROOF more PROOF

Misleading and deceptive trade rhetoric is not good policy: It hurts Americans and our economic standing. I could go through every lie in this book but you wouldn’t read it for it would be too long… so I will just let the reader research.;-)

a jobs plan??? one would have to stretch the imagination — there are perhaps two items even tangentially connected to the issue at hand. Members of the middle class will be pleased to learn that their children’s future will feature marginally smaller class sizes and work as a midlevel functionary in a green-energy factory. According to the president, the best way to grow the middle class outward (whatever that means) is to strive for more menial labor work in an unproductive manufacturing sector. Forward.

Obama supported cap-and-trade legislation, the sole purpose of which is to make fossil fuel more expensive, so let’s dismiss his contention that the administration would concern itself with expanding oil and gas work in a second term. Let’s focus instead on the green energy sector, which cannot sustain itself today — just look at the slew of clean-energy bankruptcies we’ve involuntarily invested in — or in the future. As The New York Times recently reported, “stimulus money is almost all gone, leaving many of these projects without a government benefactor and making them orphans in a competitive marketplace dominated by the deep-pocketed fossil fuel industries.” (Deep-pocketed industries will remain deep-pocketed if they continue to offer Americans things we value — you know, like energy.)

Another foundational element of Obama’s wholly unserious proposal is hiring more teachers — even though this isn’t a function of the federal government to begin with and even though, according to Lindsey Burke of The Heritage Foundation, since 1970 the number of students in public schools has increased by 8 percent while the number of teachers has increased 60 percent and even though hiring more teachers would, at best, have a marginal impact on economic growth.

But we love teachers. Check the BROCHURE .
