Jed Bush, Obama Stop Blaming My Brother for Troubles

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush had a simple message for President Obama when he took the stage here Thursday evening at the Republican National Convention: stop blaming my brother for your troubles.

“Mr. President, it is time to stop blaming your predecessor for your failed economic policies,” Bush said. “You were dealt a tough hand, but your policies have not worked.”

Said Bush: “In the fourth year of your presidency, a real leader would assume responsibility for his actions, and you haven’t done it.”

Speaking of his brother former President George W. Bush, the Floridian got applause saying: “He is a man of integrity, courage and honor and during incredibly challenging times he kept us safe.”

“I’ve been so blessed to be part of a family that has dedicated its life to public service,” Bush said.

  1. I am glad I grew up watching my Mother and her sisters and Mother watching the soap opera “as the world turns” so I could get some humour from watching the antics of not only presidents but politicians that appear to be basically mentally ill…from just arguing with each other.
    They rebuke themselves to the point, that they are of no use…
