Hot Mic At GOP Convention Exposes David Chalian and Cost Him His Job
Blatant ignorance is alive and well at the Republican Convention and it has cost one guy his job. David Chalian, Yahoo News Washington bureau chief was caught making a horrible comment on “hot mic” during live coverage of the GOP Convention, Chalian said:
“Mitt Romney and his wife are happy to have a party, with black people drowning” he was referring to hurricane Issac.
I guess David Chalian thought the Romney’s had the power to stop the rain, or could go down and stop the floods, which begs the question, why was Chalian not in Louisiana instead of Florida? Further more the news has reported the storm so far is responsible for 2 deaths, which were not due to drowning…

as the convention begins its second real day, the tone seems to have changed markedly.
A protest is now being openly advertised for Thursday (although with a pre-Isaac poster, so it still displays the wrong date):

obama and his campaign party is trying to tell the world that the Republicans and Mitt Romney are lying concerning obama cutting work from welfare, he did in fact do just that and the Heritage Foundation have proven it.
obama and his party are denying the Obama Administration’s actions and claiming that Republican governors, including Mitt Romney, tried to do the same thing. They said, “We did not do what you’re saying, but even if we did, some Republicans did it, too.” Both parts of this argument are easily debunked. so you know they are just flat out lying about NOT cutting work from welfare.

Obama Administration Claim #1: We Didn’t Gut Work Requirements:
Ever since the 1996 law passed, Democratic leaders have attempted (unsuccessfully) to repeal welfare’s work standards, blocking reauthorization of the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program (TANF) and attempting to weaken the requirements. Unable to eliminate “workfare” legislatively, the Obama HHS claimed authority to grant waivers that allow states to get around the work requirements.
Humorously, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius now asserts that the Administration abolished the TANF work requirements to increase work.

Gas Prices At An All Time High,You Can Bet Obama Won’t Accept The Blame
By labor day gas will be at an all time high, of course they are saying it’s Issac’s fault, last week the cause was an explosion in Venezuela.
The surge reignites an issue that has pitted President Barack Obama, who has called for the elimination of billions of dollars of subsidies enjoyed by the oil and gas industry, against the presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney. It also spurs speculation that Obama will release supplies from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to ease prices for consumers.
“Given this administration’s belligerent rhetoric against the oil industry, it’s going to be very easy for Romney to pin the blame on Obama,” said Stephen Schork, president of Schork Group Inc., a consulting firm in Villanova, Pennsylvania. “The White House will be on the defensive. It makes an SPR release likely sooner rather than later.”
Gasoline for September delivery advanced 7.68 cents, or 2.5 percent, to $3.1548 a gallon yesterday on the New York Mercantile Exchange, the highest level since April 30.
Michael Green, a spokesman for AAA in Washington, said in an e-mail.
“We expect the national average price of gasoline for Labor Day this year to be the highest ever for the holiday.”
Drivers could be paying $4 a gallon by the end of September. The first presidential debate is scheduled for Oct. 3.
