Liberal Activist Shoots Conservative Guard

A 28-year-old male from Virginia named Floyd Corkins who volunteered at a community center for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people, shot a  security guard this morning at the headquarters of the pro-life group Family Research Council, the shooter has been apprehended while police officials investigate the act of violence.

Sources told Fox New that after guard took away his gun, the suspect said, “Don’t shoot me, it was not about you, it was what this place stands for.”

The suspect, a 28-year-old male from Virginia named Floyd Corkins, “made statements regarding their policies, and then opened fire with a gun striking a security guard,” a source told Fox News.

Fox news also reported ” a suspect walked in and started yelling about  things they supported and opened fire.
AP later confirmed that Corkins is a liberal activist who volunteers with a left-wing group in the D.C. area.

The Huffington Post can’t stop slamming the pro-family organization as a “hate group.” The Huffington Post waited less than three hours before publishing an article which complained about “the Family Research Council, which the Southern Poverty Law Center deems a hate group.”

Yeah Huff n Puff, real hate going on there huh, trying to save innocent babies from death, open your blind eyes and see the shooter is the one filled with the hate you speak of..

MSNBC devoted only 17 seconds of coverage on the shooting.

Liberal activist almost always use violence if they can’t get their way, they think the world should be run by their standards and no one else should have a free standing opinion, sounds much like our president, as long as you think like he does he will listen to you, if you have your own ideas, you are a terrorist.

While the White House has yet to respond, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney commented on the shooting, saying: “I am appalled by the shooting today at the offices of the Family Research Council in our nation’s capital. There is no place for such violence in our society. My prayers go out to the wounded security guard and his family, as well as all the people at the Family Research Council whose sense of security has been shattered by today’s horrific events.”

UPDATE: Not until after 6:30 p.m. ET did the White House respond. Obama finally commented, saying “this type of violence has no place in our society.” But a CNN tweet indicated, “WH says Pres. Obama was notified at 1:18pm of the Family Research Council shooting by national sec. adviser John Brennan.”

hmmm I bet they procrastinated because the guy was a liberal activist, one of their people…

Our prayers are with security guard Leo Johnson, his family and the Pro-life Family Research center.
