It‘s President Barack Obama’s birthday, but it seems the Republican National Committee’s efforts to get in on the celebration were rebuffed.
The RNC on Friday sent the Democratic National Committee a birthday cake in the president’s honor, but the DNC sent it back.
The cake’s frosting message? “You didn’t bake this” — a riff on Obama’s “you didn’t build that” remark.
“Since President Obama’s birthday is tomorrow, we actually wish him a happy 50.99726 years with this ‘you didn’t bake that’ cake,” RNC spokesman Tim Miller told Yahoo! News Friday.
The oddly specific number is a knock on the White House’s explanation that “the unemployment rate ticked up to 8.3% in July (or, more precisely, the rate rose from 8.217% in June to 8.254% in July).” The RNC on Friday also rolled out a series of mocking birthday e-cards to help Obama ring in the big 5-1.
“We do know that hard working, smart entrepreneurs across the country join us in wishing the president a happy birthday and hoping that next year he has more time for baking so the country can get back to job creating,” Miller said.
But the DNC didn’t bite.
“This is typical of Mitt Romney’s approach to the middle class,” DNC spokeswoman Melanie Roussell told The Hill. “He wants to ‘Let them eat cake!’ while robbing them blind. We sent the cake back to the RNC, along with a copy of the Tax Center’s report on Mitt Romney’s tax plan.”
The cake was vanilla with vanilla frosting, according to Yahoo! News.

Little Liberals (or pre-voting age potential Liberals) are MANUFACTURED and HATCHED to ensure that the Communists who call themselves Democrats have a freshly propagandized crop of God Hating, Drug Using, Sexually Confused young adults that are convinced that they have been VICTIMIZED by the Republican Party since before they were born, or in this case HATCHED.
These Leftist ideas are implanted (like spider eggs in the ear) and then HATCHED in their brains like an explosion. Now in the case of Obama he wasn’t subjected to the American Variety of Liberal Propaganda. He didn’t grow up listening to American Liberals. Obama was propagandized Soviet style by real live Marxists and by Muslims outside of the USA. He is basically a SOVIET Spy hell bent on bring Communism to the USA.
