Obama’s Race Based School Policies

Obama signed an executive order Thursday, which will set a goal of producing “a more effective continuum” of programs for African-American students. But he goes further, he is backing a controversial campaign by progressives to regulate schools’ disciplinary actions so that members of major racial and ethnic groups are penalized at equal rates, regardless of individuals’ behavior. So if a white student speaks without permission, his punishment will be the same as the black student who hits or curses at the teacher?

His July 26 executive order established a government panel to promote “a positive school climate that does not rely on methods that result in disparate use of disciplinary tools.”

Hans Bader, a counsel at the Competitive Enterprise Institute and a former official in the Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights said, “What this means is that whites and Asians will get suspended for things that blacks don’t get suspended for,” because school officials will try to level punishments despite groups’ different infraction rates.

Roger Clegg the president of the Center for Equal Opportunity said, “It is too bad that the president has chosen to set up a new bureaucracy with a focus on one particular racial group, to the exclusion of all others,”, the president of the Center for Equal Opportunity.  Clegg went on to say, “A disproportionate share of crimes are committed by African Americans, and they are disproportionately likely to misbehave in school… because more than 7 out of 10 African Americans (72.5 percent) are born out of wedlock… versus fewer than 3 out of 10 whites,” Although ” you won’t see it mentioned in the Executive Order… there is an obvious connection between these marriage numbers and how each group is doing educationally, economically, criminally.”

CBO Releases More Bad News On Obamacare

The news concerning obamacare just keeps getting worse,  obamacare will cost $1.76 trillion over a decade, according to a new projection released today by the Congressional Budget Office, rather than the $940 billion forecast when it was signed into law.

Why is this, because they now have estimates for Obamacare’s first nine years of full implementation, rather than the mere six when it was signed into law. Only next year will we get a true ten-year cost estimate, if the law isn’t overturned by the Supreme Court or repealed by then. Given that in 2022, the last year available, the gross cost of the coverage expansions are $265 billion, we’re likely looking at about $2 trillion over the first decade, or more than double what Obama advertised.

This Is The Worse Economy We’ve Ever Experienced

The economy is in worse shape than it has ever been in history, U.S. economic growth slowed to an annual rate of just 1.5 percent from April through June, as Americans cut back sharply on spending. The weaker growth adds to worries that the economy could be stalling three years after the recession ended.

Growth at or below 2 percent isn’t enough to lower the unemployment rate, which was 8.2 percent last month and Economists don’t expect growth to pick up much in the second half of the year.

Few think the Fed, the White House or Congress can or will not do anything soon that might rejuvenate the economy quickly. Many lawmakers, for example, refuse to increase federal spending in light of historically large budget deficits.

House May Fund Obama’s Continued ‘Attack on Religious Liberty’

President Barack Obama and House Speaker John BoehnerBoehner’s House can stop what Boehner called an “attack on religious freedom,” or it can give President Obama the money to launch the attack.

Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) indicated Thursday that the Republican-controlled House of Representatives that he leads may go ahead and provide the Obama administration with the funding it needs to implement a regulation that earlier this year Boehner himself called “an unambiguous attack on religious freedom in our country.”

Was Romney Right About The Olympics

Romney  questioned whether the British people would be able to “come together and celebrate the Olympic moment.” He was attacked for that, looks as if he could be right…

“That’s something which we only find out once the Games actually begin,” he said. “My experience as an Olympic organizer is that there are always a few very small things that end up going not quite right in the first day or so,” he said. “Those get ironed out and then when the Games themselves begin and the athletes take over, all the mistakes that the organizing committee, and I made a few, all of those are overwhelmed by the many things that the athletes carry out that capture the spirit of the Games.”

So much for the Olympic spirit. Just days after U.N. secretary-general Ban Ki-moon announced the traditional Olympic Truce – for people and nations to “set aside their differences” during London 2012 – news emerged that the one Iranian athlete likely to face an Israeli in competition has withdrawn with a “gut infection.”

Last month, Iran’s official IRNA news agency quoted Sports Minister Mohammad Abbasi as saying Iranian athletes would definitely refuse to compete against Israelis if they were drawn to do so. “Not competing with the Zionist athletes is one of the values and prides of the Iranian athletes and nation,” he said.

Jay Carney Doesn’t Know The Capital Of Israel?

In today’s press briefing, White House spokesman Jay Carney was unable to identify the capital of Israel:

Carney would not say whether President Obama believe it’s Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. For nearly a minute, in response to repeated questioning, Carney only says that “our position hasn’t changed” and that he hasn’t gotten that question in a while.

You Can Eat AT Chick-Fil-A If You’re Gay

Antoine Dodson has spoken, if you are gay, it’s okay to eat at Chic-fil-A.
Dodson a Huntsville, Ala. resident who was behind the viral 2010 rap single, “Bed Intruder Song” (commonly referred to as “Hide Yo Kids, Hide Yo Wife”), says he does not care about the fast-food giant’s stance on gay marriage, and simply cares about their tasty chicken sandwiches and waffle fries — especially if they are hot.

“I dont care about one person’s opinion or how they feel. That’s the way they feel, that’s fine,” Dodson said in a YouTube address, while drinking from a Chick-fil-A cup.
