Some Christians refuse to understand the nature of America, her founders love of God (for the most part) and the direction we as a nation were moved from, and to. If politics were not important to God’s rule of law, then there would not be so many mentions of it. Law, women’s rights, rulers, satan’s plans, etc.
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
The IF is the BIG word here, leaving out the segment of faith in your life and love-walk and allowing your PC’ness to control you, assures of your shrinking abilities to reach the lost, and a big yoke and bondage to the world. No, you absolutely cannot condone evil when confronted by it, by not speaking God’s Word against it, every time, everywhere, always, in all ways.
Do you ONLY hang with Christians? Do you ONLY do what is right in your own eyes, or, are you willing to lay it out there for the Lord and push back against evil, in love, and be the Light and Word for God?
“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” Proverbs 29:3
Does this not hit a global note, and timbre that ring true, like all that God speaks?
Jesus is the only righteousness this world has, the only hope of the universe, are you for Him, and doing what he leads you to do? Or are you lukewarm, and about to be spewed out of His mouth? You’re not the latter, are you? Take an inventory of your faith holdings, what do you do in the public square, in the street, in person when confronted with evil? Push back but remain in love, I hope. Davey and I are praying for you and your good works through Christ, for the lost, our nation and the world.
