MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The leader of the 14 Wisconsin Senate Democrats who fled to Illinois 18 days ago to delay passage of a bill taking away public employees’ collective bargaining rights has asked Gov. Scott Walker for a meeting.
Democratic Sen. Mark Miller asks Walker in a letter delivered on Monday for an in-person meeting “as soon as possible to resume negotiations” on how to resolve the impasse over the bill. read more
